Program Description
Full arch rehabilitation using implants represents one of the most advanced, impactful, and rewarding procedures in modern implant dentistry. With evolving techniques, digital workflows, and innovative anchorage concepts, clinicians today have more predictable pathways to deliver immediate function, long-term esthetics, and life-changing outcomes for patients with edentulous or failing dentition.
This introductory half-day program led by Dr. John McElveen, DDS, MD, PharmD—a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with extensive expertise in complex implant reconstruction and All-on-4/remote anchorage approaches—provides a highly practical approach to full arch treatment planning, surgical execution, and prosthetic restoration.
Designed for clinicians seeking to elevate both their clinical confidence and practice growth, the course integrates didactic instruction and case-based discussion.
In addition to core surgical and restorative principles, the program will explore remote anchorage full-arch solutions—including pterygoid, trans-sinus, and zygomatic implant strategies—offering insight into how alternative anchorage can expand treatment options in challenging anatomical cases. Participants will also gain a clear understanding of the different full-arch rehabilitation pathways—such as fixed, removable, hybrid, immediate loading, and staged restorative options—so they can tailor care to each patient’s functional, esthetic, and financial goals.
Beyond clinical excellence, this course addresses the business and communication aspects of full-arch care. Attendees will learn how full-arch treatment can create meaningful revenue streams for restorative dentists, including case presentation, prosthetic add-ons, and digital workflow efficiencies. Practical guidance will be provided on how to talk with patients about full-arch solutions, discussing expectations, benefits, treatment sequencing, and financial considerations in a way that builds trust and acceptance.
🎯 Learning Objectives
By the end of this program, participants will be able to:
• Understand patient selection criteria for full-arch treatments, including complex and anatomically compromised cases
• Evaluate and compare different full-arch rehabilitation options (fixed, removable, hybrid, and remote anchorage strategies)
• Recognize the key revenue opportunities associated with restoring full-arch patients and how to structure cases efficiently
• Develop effective communication strategies to present full-arch solutions to patients with clarity, confidence, and empathy
