SUMMARY:Webinar - Clinical Indicators Part 2: From Case Identification to Team-Based Execution
DESCRIPTION:This webinar continues the discussion on identifying implant candidates in everyday dental practice. Additional clinical scenarios will be reviewed to help practitioners recognize patients who may benefit from implant therapy during routine visits such as hygiene exams\, restorative consultations\, and extraction appointments. \nThe second portion of the webinar will explore how implant therapy can be supported through a coordinated\, team-based approach. Participants will learn how different members of the dental team can reinforce patient education and contribute to consistent communication of implant treatment options throughout the patient experience. \n  \nLearning Objectives\nBy the end of this webinar\, participants will be able to: \n\nIdentify additional clinical situations where implant therapy should be considered.\nApply a systematic approach to evaluating implant candidates during routine visits.\nUnderstand the role of the dental team in supporting implant discussions and patient education.\nImplement a coordinated workflow for communicating implant treatment options within the practice.\n\n

SUMMARY:Implant Complications: Prevention\, Diagnosis\, and Management
DESCRIPTION:Clinical Strategies for Predictable Implant Outcomes\nDental implant therapy has become a predictable and widely used treatment option for replacing missing teeth; however\, complications may occur during surgical placement\, prosthetic restoration\, or long-term maintenance. While many implant complications can be avoided through careful diagnosis and treatment planning\, clinicians must also be prepared to recognize and manage complications when they occur. \nThis full-day course provides a comprehensive review of common implant complications encountered in clinical practice\, including surgical complications\, prosthetic failures\, biological complications\, and esthetic challenges. Emphasis will be placed on identifying patient risk factors\, evaluating anatomical considerations using CBCT imaging\, and applying prosthetically driven treatment planning principles to improve implant positioning and reduce complications. \nParticipants will also learn practical strategies for diagnosing implant complications and selecting appropriate management approaches when complications arise. Clinical case examples—including immediate implant placement and full-arch implant rehabilitation—will illustrate how complications develop and how clinicians can respond effectively to improve treatment outcomes and long-term implant success. \n\n\n\n🎯 Learning Objectives \nBy the end of this program\, participants will be able to: \n\nIdentify common surgical\, prosthetic\, and biological complications associated with dental implant therapy.\nEvaluate patient-related and site-specific risk factors that may increase the likelihood of implant complications.\nApply prosthetically driven treatment planning principles to improve implant positioning and reduce surgical and restorative complications.\nUtilize CBCT imaging and anatomical analysis to support safe implant placement and avoid damage to critical anatomical structures.\nRecognize clinical and radiographic signs of implant complications\, including early implant failure and peri-implant disease.\nApply appropriate clinical management strategies for surgical\, prosthetic\, and biological implant complications.
