SUMMARY:Atraumatic Extractions & Grafting Techniques & Intro to Guided Dental Implants
DESCRIPTION:This course is a hands-on live patient two-day program\, where the course participants will learn atraumatic extraction and grafting techniques as well as an introduction to guided dental implants\, including\, but not limited to: \n• Atraumatic and efficient extraction techniques that preserve bone and shorten surgery time in preparation for dental implants and/or a denture;\n• How to achieve predictable grafting results including an overview of what materials to use\, when and why – including the importance of membranes;\n• The proper armamentarium for leveling bone and grafting predictably;\n• Suturing techniques that achieve consistent primary closure\, including proper suturing when placing a membrane;\n• The pre-operative planning and surgical techniques involved to set the foundation for dental implant placement;\n• How to get started with implementing single and multiple dental implants into their practice\, including each of the following on a high-level basis’;\n• Diagnosis and treatment planning;\n• Restorative options & suggested costs;\n• Anatomical Considerations;\n• Safe & predictable posterior implant strategies;\n• Implant protocol for posterior Implant placement;\n• Aesthetic & functional considerations;\n• Radiographic interpretation & planning;\n• 3D virtual treatment planning;\n• Surgical guide overview;\n• Indications for immediate loading and “same-day” teeth;\n• Provisional and permanent restorations;\n• Surgical set-up & instrumentation – including surgical & prosthetic components;\n• Case presentation for patient acceptance that works;\n• Implant marketing overview;\n• Complication management;\n• Medication protocols;\n• Lab communication for optimal results;\n• Proven patient communication techniques to explain the procedures to your patients to ensure patient acceptance of your treatment plans; and\n• Proven business and marketing tips on how to make your office more profitable and efficient related to extractions\, grafting and dental implants. \nIn addition to extraction and grafting techniques this course is geared towards GP’s who want to learn how to get started with implementing single and multiple dental implants into their practice\, or GP’s that are already placing implants but more predictable results. This course will discuss indications for immediate placement into a socket site following an extraction and immediate loading of temporary teeth so the patients have “same-day” teeth following the placement of the implant(s).  A thorough overview of predictable implant placement and restoration techniques will be discussed in a simple and easy to follow manner. This introductory to intermediate program will not be over your head or too advanced – but provide the basics on getting started with your implant journey or refining your implant placement techniques.  This course will also introduce you to guided dental implants if you are not already using guided surgery for your dental implants. Learn how guided dental surgery with surgical guides can make your implants more predictable. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n* PLEASE NOTE: THE LIVE PATIENT COMPONENT FOCUSES ON EXTRACTIONS & GRAFTING. NO LIVE PATIENT IMPLANTS WILL BE PLACED BY CLASS PARTICIPANTS. \nCourse is open to licensed U.S. and Canadian dentists only.  No special license or additional insurance is needed for out-of-state dentists. \nIf you are only looking for extraction experience and are not interested in grafting and dental implants at this time\, please consider the AMP1 program. AMP1 is not a prerequisite for AMP2\, where AMP2 can be taken without taking AMP1.

SUMMARY:SOLD OUT: Immediate Implant Placement and Restoration "The Esthetic Zone"
DESCRIPTION:Immediate implant placement with provisionalization is a long established and scientifically proven approach to implant therapy. This course is designed to cover specific protocols to maximize long-term success. The program will place emphasis on initial diagnosis\, surgery and prosthetics that will streamline procedures valuable to the patient. Participants will have an opportunity to practice the theory with 2 Hands-On model exercises.\n\nCourse Description: \n\n          Implant dentistry has become a significant aspect in the field of oral healthcare. Although a multitude of implant procedures or approaches exist\, the most common is single tooth replacement. The immediate implant placement restoration is a predictable\, scientific\, and clinical approach to maximize outcomes. This full 2-day program will take a deep dive into IIPR from an evidence-based and clinical perspective. Strict “Step by Step” protocols and decision trees will be discussed through a case-based learning style.\n\nCourse Objectives: \n\n Understand the indications for the IIPR approach\n Learn “step by step” IIPR procedures for type 1 and type 2 sockets\n Gain knowledge in implant selection\, biomaterials and osteotomy approaches to enhance esthetics and osseointegration\n Learn how to decide whether free hand vs. guided surgery is a more predictable approach\n Understand “decision trees”\n Case presentations will emphasize and validate the IIPR protocol\n\nSchedule: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.\n\nBreakfast & Lunch will be served\n\nLimited seats available\n\n \nCancellation Policy\n\n Cancellation before October 22nd is permitted for $400 refund.\n Cancellations between October 23rd and November 22nd are non-refundable.

SUMMARY:Achieving Atraumatic Extractions & Simple Socket Preservation
DESCRIPTION:This course is a two-day program\, where the attendees will learn atraumatic extraction and simple socket preservation techniques. \nAll licensed U.S. and Canadian dentists will have the opportunity to work on live patients provided by us with supervision by our Amplify faculty. Each dentist can expect to perform at a minimum of ten extractions\, and have the opportunity to do many more if desired\, including full upper and/or lower cases. Most extractions will be difficult extractions\, including broken down or decayed teeth\, providing a great learning experience. \nPlease note\, AMP1 is not a grafting program\, but we will teach a simple socket preservation technique that all attendees can easily implement into their offices following an atraumatic extraction. For doctors looking for grafting education please consider our AMP2 program. AMP1 is not a prerequisite for AMP2\, where AMP2 can be taken without taking AMP1. \nCourse Objectives – Once Completed\, Participants Will Learn: \n\n\nAchieving atraumatic extractions and simple socket preservation; \n\n\nUnderstanding why atraumatic extractions are important for your practice; \n\n\nSocket preservation; how and why it’s important. (This is not a grafting program but we will show a simple technique we all can implement in certain cases in an affordable manner.); \n\n\nReducing your stress related to extractions; \n\n\nSuturing techniques; \n\n\nSatisfying your patient’s esthetic and functional needs; \n\n\nBoosting your overall productivity; and \n\n\nProven patient communication techniques to explain the procedures to your patients to ensure acceptance of your treatment plans. \n\n\n  \nDay 1:\nCLASSROOM\n8:30am – 9:00am Registration/Breakfast (provided by Amplify)9:00am – 11:00am Lecture11:00am – 11:15am Break 11:15am – 12:30pm Lecture12:30pm – 1:00pm Lunch (provided by Amplify Dental)1:00pm – 3:30pm lecture3:30pm – 4:30pm Class Room Hands on Models4:30pm – 5:00pm Review\, Q & A\, Day 2 overview \nLOCATION:\nAmplify Dental Training Center27251 Gratiot AvenueRoseville\, Michigan 48066 \nDay 2:\nCLINIC FLOOR\n8:30am – 9:00am Registration/Light Breakfast & Coffee (provided by Amplify)9:00am – 9:30am Live Patient Demonstration of Procedures by Dr. Ara Nazarian9:30am – 9:45am Instruments\, Supplies & Paperwork Overview9:45am – 12:15pm Live Patient Treatment by Course Attendees12:15pm – 12:45pm Lunch (provided by Amplify)12:45pm – 4:30pm Live Patient Treatment by Course Attendees4:30pm – 5:00 Classroom Review\, Q & A\, Forms and Evaluations \nLOCATION:\nWayne County Community College District8200 West Outer DriveDetroit\, Michigan 48219
