SUMMARY:Expanding the Full-Arch Toolbox: Innovative Solutions for Complex Cases
DESCRIPTION:Full arch rehabilitation using implants represents one of the most advanced\, impactful\, and rewarding procedures in modern implant dentistry. With evolving techniques\, digital workflows\, and innovative anchorage concepts\, clinicians today have more predictable pathways to deliver immediate function\, long-term esthetics\, and life-changing outcomes for patients with edentulous or failing dentition. \nThis introductory half-day program led by Dr. John McElveen\, DDS\, MD\, PharmD—a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with extensive expertise in complex implant reconstruction and All-on-4/remote anchorage approaches—provides a highly practical approach to full arch treatment planning\, surgical execution\, and prosthetic restoration. \nDesigned for clinicians seeking to elevate both their clinical confidence and practice growth\, the course integrates didactic instruction and case-based discussion. \nIn addition to core surgical and restorative principles\, the program will explore remote anchorage full-arch solutions—including pterygoid\, trans-sinus\, and zygomatic implant strategies—offering insight into how alternative anchorage can expand treatment options in challenging anatomical cases. Participants will also gain a clear understanding of the different full-arch rehabilitation pathways—such as fixed\, removable\, hybrid\, immediate loading\, and staged restorative options—so they can tailor care to each patient’s functional\, esthetic\, and financial goals. \nBeyond clinical excellence\, this course addresses the business and communication aspects of full-arch care. Attendees will learn how full-arch treatment can create meaningful revenue streams for restorative dentists\, including case presentation\, prosthetic add-ons\, and digital workflow efficiencies. Practical guidance will be provided on how to talk with patients about full-arch solutions\, discussing expectations\, benefits\, treatment sequencing\, and financial considerations in a way that builds trust and acceptance. \n\n\n\n🎯 Learning Objectives \nBy the end of this program\, participants will be able to: \n• Understand patient selection criteria for full-arch treatments\, including complex and anatomically compromised cases\n• Evaluate and compare different full-arch rehabilitation options (fixed\, removable\, hybrid\, and remote anchorage strategies)\n• Recognize the key revenue opportunities associated with restoring full-arch patients and how to structure cases efficiently\n• Develop effective communication strategies to present full-arch solutions to patients with clarity\, confidence\, and empathy

SUMMARY:Atraumatic Extractions & Grafting Techniques & Intro to Guided Dental Implants
DESCRIPTION:This course is a hands-on live patient two-day program\, where the course participants will learn atraumatic extraction and grafting techniques as well as an introduction to guided dental implants\, including\, but not limited to: \n• Atraumatic and efficient extraction techniques that preserve bone and shorten surgery time in preparation for dental implants and/or a denture;\n• How to achieve predictable grafting results including an overview of what materials to use\, when and why – including the importance of membranes;\n• The proper armamentarium for leveling bone and grafting predictably;\n• Suturing techniques that achieve consistent primary closure\, including proper suturing when placing a membrane;\n• The pre-operative planning and surgical techniques involved to set the foundation for dental implant placement;\n• How to get started with implementing single and multiple dental implants into their practice\, including each of the following on a high-level basis’;\n• Diagnosis and treatment planning;\n• Restorative options & suggested costs;\n• Anatomical Considerations;\n• Safe & predictable posterior implant strategies;\n• Implant protocol for posterior Implant placement;\n• Aesthetic & functional considerations;\n• Radiographic interpretation & planning;\n• 3D virtual treatment planning;\n• Surgical guide overview;\n• Indications for immediate loading and “same-day” teeth;\n• Provisional and permanent restorations;\n• Surgical set-up & instrumentation – including surgical & prosthetic components;\n• Case presentation for patient acceptance that works;\n• Implant marketing overview;\n• Complication management;\n• Medication protocols;\n• Lab communication for optimal results;\n• Proven patient communication techniques to explain the procedures to your patients to ensure patient acceptance of your treatment plans; and\n• Proven business and marketing tips on how to make your office more profitable and efficient related to extractions\, grafting and dental implants. \nIn addition to extraction and grafting techniques this course is geared towards GP’s who want to learn how to get started with implementing single and multiple dental implants into their practice\, or GP’s that are already placing implants but more predictable results. This course will discuss indications for immediate placement into a socket site following an extraction and immediate loading of temporary teeth so the patients have “same-day” teeth following the placement of the implant(s).  A thorough overview of predictable implant placement and restoration techniques will be discussed in a simple and easy to follow manner. This introductory to intermediate program will not be over your head or too advanced – but provide the basics on getting started with your implant journey or refining your implant placement techniques.  This course will also introduce you to guided dental implants if you are not already using guided surgery for your dental implants. Learn how guided dental surgery with surgical guides can make your implants more predictable. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n* PLEASE NOTE: THE LIVE PATIENT COMPONENT FOCUSES ON EXTRACTIONS & GRAFTING. NO LIVE PATIENT IMPLANTS WILL BE PLACED BY CLASS PARTICIPANTS. \nCourse is open to licensed U.S. and Canadian dentists only.  No special license or additional insurance is needed for out-of-state dentists. \nIf you are only looking for extraction experience and are not interested in grafting and dental implants at this time\, please consider the AMP1 program. AMP1 is not a prerequisite for AMP2\, where AMP2 can be taken without taking AMP1.
