Program Description
Course Description:
Implant dentistry has become a significant aspect in the field of oral healthcare. Although a multitude of implant procedures or approaches exist, the most common is single tooth replacement. The immediate implant placement restoration (IIPR) is a predictable, scientific, and clinical approach to maximize outcomes.
This intensive one-day program provides a comprehensive, evidence-based and clinical look at IIPR. Through a case-based learning approach, participants will follow clear, step-by-step protocols and decision trees, with a focus on accurate diagnosis, surgical techniques, and prosthetic workflows that optimize patient care.
Course Objectives:
• Understand the indications for the IIPR approach
• Learn “step by step” IIPR procedures for type 1 and type 2 sockets
• Gain knowledge in implant selection, biomaterials and osteotomy approaches to enhance esthetics and osseointegration
• Learn how to decide whether free hand vs. guided surgery is a more predictable approach
• Understand “decision trees”
• Case presentations will emphasize and validate the IIPR protocol
