This course will cover Socket Preservation, Ridge Augmentation, Instrumentation and Materials, Tenting and Tacs, Block grafts, Resorbable and Non-resorbable membranes, Titanium Mesh, Soft Tissue Grafting,  PRF and  Ridge Splitting  and more!

YOU WILL LEARN:

  • Rationale and principles of hard tissue (bone) grafting
  • Recognizing bony defects – diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Biological factors essential to the regeneration process
  • Review graft materials and What graft to use When
  • Socket grafting and grafting small horizontal and vertical defects
  • Tenting for horizontal and vertical defects
  • Using titanium mesh
  • Block grafts allogenic
  • Review membranes and know when to use which membrane
  • Principles of soft tissue grafting
  • Free gingival grafts – harvesting sites and recipient site preparation
  • Pedicle grafts. Techniques and applications.
  • Ridge Splitting and Expansion
  • Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF)
  • Complications and failures

HANDS ON EXERCISES:   Will be performed on both days, using instruments, handpiece motors, surgical kits, centrifuge and pig jaws!
